About the project

I need a complete, permit-ready site plan for a new residential street in Virginia. The plan has to satisfy county requirements and VDOT standards while clearly showing alignment, typical sections, profiles, and a properly sized drainage system. No sidewalks or street lighting are required at this stage. I have a firm that can perform the topographical survey. From there, prepare the full civil design using AutoCAD Civil 3D (or comparable software), include all drainage calculations, and package everything so it can be submitted directly for preliminary review and eventual approval. The street is only 400 feet long by 18 feet wide and conditions can be grandfathered into the current VDOT standards. Deliverables: • Signed and sealed site plan sheets (PDF + DWG) by someone licensed in Virginia • Drainage report with supporting hydrology/hydraulic calcs • Digital terrain model and survey files • Any VDOT and local checklist forms completed Acceptance criteria: drawings conform to current Virginia and county codes, drainage design handles the required storm events, utilities and the reviewing agency accepts the initial submission without major revision requests. Let me know your proposed timeline and any survey resources you can provide so we can move forward quickly. I am including an example of what we need and also any other requirements you know as an engineer. We need these stamped by someone licensed in Virginia and for you to be available to revise as needed.
