Arduino-Based Tractor Control Board Design
EUR 250–750
About the project
What I need: A PCB design for a tractor control board built around an Arduino Mega Mini (Mega2560 Pro Mini), which needs to plug directly into the board via sockets/pin headers. 1-2 layer PCB, through-hole components only (I'll hand-solder it myself). All external connections (sensors, actuators, power) come out to screw terminals on the board edge. The W5500 Ethernet module and BTS7960 motor driver stay as off-the-shelf modules but get soldered directly onto the PCB. Communication with the rest of my system is Modbus TCP over Ethernet (via the W5500), not RS485. On top of the existing sensor/actuator I/O, the board needs: 7 extra analog inputs (5× 0-5V, 2× 0-10V, each with a small divider), 4 free digital pins, two inline automotive blade fuses (one on the main supply, one on the BTS7960), and two onboard step-down regulators (5V for the Arduino/logic, plus a separate 24V rail on its own terminal for future use). Deliverables: schematic, PCB layout with Gerbers/drill files, BOM (parts sourced from Reichelt/Mouser/Digikey where possible), assembly drawing, and a 3D STEP file of the fully assembled board for enclosure design. The full detail is all in the PCB-Project-Brief-EN.docx and the pinout diagram I gave you — just send those along, they cover everything a freelancer would need to quote it.
