Animated Virtual Gifts for Mimo Live Platform

About the project

We are building Mimo, a new 18+ social livestream and short-video platform. We are looking for a talented 2D/3D animator and VFX artist for a long-term collaboration. We need a complete collection of original virtual LIVE gifts that users can purchase with coins and send to livestream creators. The gifts should have the premium quality, excitement and full-screen cinematic impact users expect from major livestream platforms such as TikTok. However, every character, animation, movement, sound and visual design must be completely original. Nothing may be copied from TikTok or another platform. Gift categories: 1. Small gifts — approximately 2–3 seconds: * Hearts, roses and flowers * Tea, coffee, food and drinks * Emojis and reactions * Stars, coins and small animals * National and cultural celebration effects 2. Medium gifts — approximately 3–5 seconds: * Crowns and treasure chests * Motorcycles and luxury cars * Fantasy animals * Celebration and fireworks effects * Ships, buildings and cultural objects 3. Premium full-screen gifts — approximately 6–10 seconds: * Phoenix * Dragon * Fantasy palace * Spaceship * Luxury vehicle * Large magical creatures * Cinematic city and cultural scenes We also want original regional and cultural gift collections: Ottoman-inspired collection: * A magnificent Ottoman-inspired fantasy palace * Royal throne with original decorative details * Tulips, lanterns, mosaics and ornamental patterns * Historical horse and warrior-inspired animations * Royal ship sailing through a cinematic scene * Golden gates opening into a fantasy palace * Ottoman-inspired celebration with drums and original music Istanbul collection: * A magical Bosphorus night scene * Istanbul skyline with fireworks * Galata-inspired tower scene * Ferry, seagulls, tea and simit animations * Romantic sunset over Istanbul * Bridge lighting and celebration effects * Istanbul-inspired luxury yacht experience Denmark collection: * Red-and-white Danish celebration * Copenhagen-inspired colourful harbour * Viking ship arriving through a storm * Danish crown-inspired royal effect * Swan, heart and northern-light animations * Wind turbines and modern Danish scenery * Copenhagen skyline with fireworks Azerbaijan collection: * Land of Fire-inspired effects * Fire horse or fire eagle * Pomegranate opening with magical particles * Traditional carpet-inspired patterns * Baku-inspired night skyline * Caspian Sea celebration * Original music and instrument-inspired animations * Red, blue and green celebration effects All cultural designs must be created respectfully and accurately. Do not use sacred or religious text, official government emblems, copyrighted monuments, protected artwork or political imagery without our approval. The first paid test project will be an original premium Phoenix LIVE gift. Phoenix concept: A powerful phoenix emerges from flames and glowing particles, flies dramatically towards or across the camera, spreads its wings and finishes with the Mimo name or logo. Animation requirements: * Completely original visual designs * High-quality 2D, 3D and VFX animation * Vertical 9:16 format * Minimum 1080 × 1920 for premium gifts * Transparent background for livestream overlays * Smooth performance on iPhone, Android and mobile web/PWA * Optimized file sizes * Matching thumbnail for every gift * Two revision rounds per animation Sound requirements: * You must find, license or create suitable sound effects and music * Sound must be synchronized professionally with the animation * Premium gifts must include cinematic sound design * Cultural music must be respectful and appropriate for the relevant country or theme * No TikTok sounds or unlicensed copyrighted audio may be used * All audio must be cleared for worldwide commercial use * You must provide documentation for third-party audio licences * Final sound mix and separate audio files must be included Technical deliverables: * ProRes 4444 MOV with alpha transparency * WebM with alpha transparency * MP4 preview with sound * WAV audio master and separate audio files * Transparent PNG thumbnail * Editable project and source files * 3D models, textures and project assets * Low-, medium- and high-quality optimized versions * Lottie or SVGA versions where technically suitable Commercial rights: Mimo must receive exclusive worldwide commercial rights to all original designs, sound design and completed animations. The final original gifts may not be resold, published or reused for another customer. Every third-party model, texture, template, music track or sound effect must be disclosed and properly licensed. Working process: 1. Gift concept and storyboard 2. Style frame or character design 3. Low-resolution preview with draft sound 4. Feedback and revisions 5. We are a startup with a limited initial budget, but we will need many different gifts if the first project is successful. The first paid Phoenix test has a target budget of $50–80 USD, including animation, sound, source files and commercial usage rights. Please also provide your prices for future individual gifts and gift packages.
