About the project
I have an indie feature entering post-production and I’m ready to hand the raw footage over to a dedicated editor. My pay rate is $50 per hour and I’m looking for someone who can do more than basic cuts—I need advanced effects and transitions that feel dynamic and flashy, not just smooth placeholders. You will be weaving motion graphics, visual effects, and occasional 3D animations straight into the timeline so the storytelling feels seamless and energetic. Think punchy title slates, kinetic scene bridges, and stylized VFX moments that heighten mood rather than distract. I’ll supply: • 4K ProRes footage organized by scene • Reference edits, temp music, and timecode notes • Existing brand motion templates (After Effects) You’ll deliver: • A fully edited sequence in Premiere (or Resolve) with all advanced transitions, effects, and graphics live-linked • A high-bitrate master export (H.264 + ProRes HQ) • Consolidated project files, proxies, and an asset manifest for archival • Two rounds of revisions baked into the hourly schedule Must-haves: proven experience compositing in After Effects, solid 3D skills (Element 3D, Cinema 4D, or similar), and an eye for pacing that keeps viewers hooked.
