Project Title: Mechanical Enclosure Design for Industrial IoT Wireless Sensor Node (IP67, Magnetic/Epoxy Mount) Project Description: Looking for an experienced mechanical/product designer to design a rugged industrial enclosure for a compact wireless sensor node used in industrial environments. Two variants from one base design: Permanently installed node — magnetic or epoxy mount Handheld version — ergonomic grip, panel-mount connector on enclosure wall PCB: 40×36mm Target enclosure: ≤60×60mm footprint, minimal height Mechanical requirements: IP67 rated (dust-tight, 1m immersion) Mounting options: — Epoxy mount (flat base) — Magnetic mount — N52 pot magnet, min 50N pull, either integrated or detachable magnetic base addon (like a snap-on magnetic puck the sensor sits into) O-ring groove for lid seal Single M8 connector port on enclosure wall (industrial connector) No other ports or openings LED diffuser window on top face Snap-fit OR M2 screw assembly, no exposed fasteners on top Min 2mm wall thickness Designed for injection moulding long term — first prototypes via 3D print (PETG/ASA) Deliverables: Native CAD source file (any professional tool — Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Onshape, CATIA, Creo) STEP file STL files for 3D printing 2D drawing with GD&T Exploded assembly render Minimum 3 photorealistic renders (top, side, isometric) Please include in your proposal: Portfolio of IP-rated industrial enclosures you have designed Your CAD tool and approach to O-ring sealing and snap-fit design Estimated timeline — first STEP within 2 weeks preferred
