Travel Neck Pillow Redesign

About the project

I am looking for an experienced industrial designer or mechanical engineer to continue the development of an existing travel neck pillow project. The product has already been designed and a physical prototype has been manufactured. After testing the prototype, I identified several improvements that need to be made before moving to production. I will provide the existing CAD files, prototype photos, dimensions, and detailed revision notes. Scope of Work The goal is to improve the existing design rather than create a completely new product. The redesign may include: * Improving the chin support for better comfort and stability. * Designing or refining a telescopic/extendable mechanism. * Designing or improving a height-adjustment mechanism. * Improving the attachment/locking mechanism for smooth assembly and disassembly. * Refining the overall shape and fit. * Preparing the design for prototype manufacturing and eventual mass production. Deliverables * Updated 3D CAD model. * Editable source CAD files. * STEP (.stp) files. * Manufacturing-ready drawings and documentation. * Revisions based on feedback until the design is finalized for prototyping. Requirements * Experience designing consumer products with moving or adjustable mechanisms. * Experience preparing products for manufacturing. * Strong mechanical design skills. * Good communication throughout the design process.
