Printable STL Product Prototype Design -- 2
INR 600–1500
About the project
I have a new product concept that needs to move from sketch to a clean, watertight STL file ready for 3-D printing in plastic. The model has to respect common print constraints (no non-manifold edges, correct wall thickness, proper tolerances for FDM/FFF printers) so I can send it straight to the slicer without extra cleanup. What I’ll provide: • reference sketches and overall dimensions • basic functional notes (how parts should fit, areas that need extra strength) What I need back: • a final, print-ready STL • the original editable CAD file (STEP or native format of your software) • one quick revision pass after test print, if minor tweaks are required The focus is on practical printability rather than showroom polish, but surfaces should still be smooth enough to sand and finish afterwards. Familiarity with Fusion 360, SolidWorks or similar modeling tools is ideal as long as the export is flawless. If you’ve successfully designed plastic prototypes for 3-D printing before, especially ones that had to snap-fit or interlock, this should be straightforward. Let me know which software you’ll be using and roughly how long you expect the modeling to take once all references are in hand.
