About the project

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical CAD Designer to create a high-quality 3D model and manufacturing-ready drawings for a custom mechanical component. The ideal candidate should have experience with SolidWorks, Autodesk Fusion 360, or Autodesk Inventor and be able to transform sketches, reference images, or basic dimensions into an accurate, fully parametric CAD model. The selected freelancer will design the part with proper manufacturing considerations, including dimensional accuracy, tolerances, fillets, chamfers, and mounting features where required. The final model should be suitable for 3D printing, CNC machining, or general manufacturing, depending on the application. Strong attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to incorporate revision requests are essential. Scope of Work Create a detailed 3D CAD model from provided references. Produce manufacturing-ready 2D technical drawings with dimensions. Apply appropriate design practices for manufacturability. Make revisions based on client feedback. Ensure the design is clean, accurate, and fully editable. Deliverables Native CAD files (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or Inventor). STEP (.step/.stp) and IGES (.igs) files. STL file for 3D printing (if required). PDF technical drawings with dimensions and annotations. High-quality rendered images of the final design.
