About the project

Mechanical CAD Designer Needed for Three VIPER Scooter Licensing Drawings BUDGET AND SCHEDULE Fixed-price project. Target completion: 14–21 calendar days. PROJECT I need an experienced mechanical CAD designer and product-visualization specialist for VIPER, a compact three-wheel stand-up electric vehicle. VIPER has one front hub-motor wheel, two rear wheels, a low flat deck and a folding steering pole. The front wheel passes partly through the deck to maintain a low platform height. This limited Phase 1 project will produce three drawings for an initial licensing presentation—not final engineering, manufacturing drawings, tooling, certification or a working prototype. All drawings must originate from one consistent, editable 3D CAD model. AI-generated pictures alone are not acceptable. REQUIRED DELIVERABLES 1. Editable master 3D CAD model 2. Complete VIPER hero rendering 3. Accurate side-profile drawing 4. Simplified front steering-support cutaway CORE SPECIFICATIONS * Three wheels: one front and two rear * Wheel diameter: 5.00 inches including tire * Front tire width: approximately 1.50 inches * Deck-top height: exactly 3.00 inches above ground * Deck thickness: approximately 0.50 inch * Front rim to front-wheel center: approximately 3.75 inches * Head-tube angle: 72.5 degrees * Head-tube diameter: approximately 1.50 inches * Rider-capacity target: minimum 225 pounds * Product-weight target: approximately 20 pounds * Rear-wheel track target: approximately 12 inches * Front wheel passes partly through the deck * Rear wheels remain below the deck top * No prominent rear-wheel ears or conventional casters MANDATORY GEOMETRY * Deck must remain completely flat. * Do not curve, arch, slope or raise the deck around the steering assembly. * Front wheel must visibly pass partly through the deck. * Do not place the complete front wheel below the deck. * Head tube must be centered directly above the front wheel. * Head tube, fork shaft, fork, axle and wheel must be aligned. * Side view must show the 72.5-degree head-tube angle. * Fork must fit closely around the 1.50-inch tire and must not be oversized. * Head-tube housing must have straight exterior walls extending vertically to the flat deck. * Housing must sit flat on the deck. * No 45-degree exterior transition, curved base, flared skirt, exterior wedge or decorative brace. * Reinforcing ribs may be located inside the housing and underneath the deck. * Do not change approved geometry without written permission. MASTER CAD MODEL The simplified editable assembly must include: * Flat deck and front-wheel opening * Straight-wall head-tube housing * Internal support collar and conceptual ribs * Head tube and bearing placeholders * Fork shaft, compact fork crown and fork legs * Front hub-motor wheel and basic axle hardware * Steering pole and simplified folding joint * Two rear wheels and discreet supports Detailed electronics, wiring, braking, mold tooling and manufacturing tolerances are not required. DRAWING 1 — HERO RENDERING Create a polished front three-quarter view showing the complete three-wheel VIPER, flat deck, front wheel passing through the deck, steering pole, compact steering housing and discreet rear wheels. Use a clean studio background, green deck and steering pole, dark or silver mechanical parts and black tires. No people, scenery, watermarks or invented accessories. Provide one primary hero view and one alternate camera angle from the same CAD model. DRAWING 2 — SIDE PROFILE Show: * Ground line * Flat deck * 3.00-inch deck height * 0.50-inch deck thickness * 5.00-inch front wheel passing partly through the deck * 3.75-inch front-wheel center location * 72.5-degree head-tube angle * Steering pole and folding-joint location * Front fork * Rear-wheel position below deck level * Overall proportions and major dimensions DRAWING 3 — FRONT STEERING CUTAWAY Show and label: * Steering tube and fork shaft * Head tube * Upper and lower bearings * Straight-wall housing * Internal support collar and ribs * Fork crown and fork legs * Hub-motor wheel and axle * Flat deck and wheel opening * Wheel and head-tube centerlines Clearly show the wheel passing through the flat deck, head tube centered over the wheel, compact fork, straight housing walls reaching the deck and internal reinforcement. No exterior angled transition or braces. FINAL FILES Provide: * Native editable CAD assembly and parts * STEP assembly * Parasolid if supported * Native drawing/rendering files * PDF, PNG and JPG versions * Materials and textures * Images at least 3840 × 2160 where 16:9 is used Preferred software: SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Inventor, Creo or Onshape. TWO REVISION ROUNDS Two consolidated revision rounds are included. Errors caused by ignoring the written requirements—such as a curved deck, wrong wheel size, angled housing base, oversized fork, misalignment, visible rear-wheel ears or broken files—must be corrected without additional charge. PAYMENT MILESTONES Milestone 1 — 20% * Review references * List assumptions or conflicts * Preliminary CAD geometry * Top, front, side and perspective previews Payment after geometry approval. Milestone 2 — 40% * Completed editable CAD model * Hero rendering * Side-profile drawing * Native CAD and STEP files * First revision round Payment after approval and source-file verification. Milestone 3 — 40% * Completed steering cutaway * Final corrections * Second revision round * Delivery of all source files and exports Final payment only after all files are received and verified. CONFIDENTIALITY AND OWNERSHIP The project may not be published, shared, reused, placed in a portfolio, subcontracted without permission or used to train AI. All paid work and associated rights are assigned to Kenneth Babb. Detailed references will be provided privately to qualified candidates. BID RESPONSE Please provide: 1. Individual freelancer or agency 2. CAD software and version 3. Confirmation you personally perform the work 4. Confirmation you provide editable native CAD and STEP files 5. Two or three comparable CAD, cutaway or vehicle examples 6. Relevant mobility, scooter, hub-motor or molded-plastic experience 7. Fixed price and completion time 8. Confirmation of milestones, revisions, confidentiality and ownership 9. Any unavailable deliverable or pricing assumption Begin your proposal with: “VIPER THREE DRAWINGS” Proposals offering only AI images, refusing editable CAD, requesting full advance payment or ignoring the flat deck, 5-inch wheel and straight-wall housing requirements will not be considered. Qualified bidders will receive the complete detailed specification privately.
