About the project

I need a production-ready 3D CAD model for an ultra-lightweight 350 ml PET water bottle. Material efficiency is the top priority, so the wall profile must be optimized to hit a low gram weight without compromising strength. The finished geometry must remain leak-proof, use fully recyclable PET, and stay rigid through automated high-speed filling, capping and warehouse stacking. The design has to survive: • Dynamic internal pressure during a 2 bar filling cycle • Top-load stresses when pallets are stacked • Normal consumer handling and transport abuse A clean silhouette is welcome, yet any added form must serve strength or grip while respecting the weight target. Deliverables • Parametric CAD files in STEP or SolidWorks format • 2D manufacturing drawings with neck finish, critical dimensions and suggested preform weight • Basic simulation or hand calculations confirming top-load and pressure resistance • Brief design note that explains material-saving strategies, anticipated gram weight and recycling considerations Acceptance criteria: passes a 180 N top-load test, remains leak-tight with a standard 28 mm cap, and holds shape after the 2 bar fill. Once these points are met, we can move straight to prototyping.
