About the project

I’m planning a full-scale commercial landscaping project and need a designer who can translate my ideas into clear, build-ready plans. The setting is a business property, and I want the overall look and feel to stay firmly in the Traditional style—think timeless lines, balanced symmetry, and plant choices that age gracefully rather than follow passing trends. Key elements I need incorporated: • A well-organised parking layout that maximises capacity without feeling like an asphalt sea. • A lighting plan that blends safety with ambience, highlighting entry points, pathways and focal planting areas. • Comprehensive soft landscaping—beds, borders and tree placements that soften the hardscape while keeping maintenance practical for a commercial site. If water features, seating pockets or formal pathways naturally complement the concept, I’m open to seeing how you would weave them in, provided they don’t detract from the traditional character. Deliverables 1. Scaled master plan (PDF + editable CAD). 2. Planting schedule with species, sizes and quantities. 3. Hardscape, parking and lighting layouts, including fixture specs. 4. 3D visualisations or rendered perspectives to help stakeholders grasp the final look. 5. A brief maintenance guide so property managers know exactly how to keep everything thriving. I review drawings in AutoCAD or similar formats and appreciate presentation boards built in SketchUp, Lumion or comparable tools for visual clarity. Accuracy, code compliance and logical pedestrian/vehicle flow are critical acceptance criteria. Timeline is flexible but I’d like an initial concept within two weeks of awarding the project, with two revision rounds built in.
