Men’s Dress Shoe Tech Pack
hr GBP 18–36
About the project
I want to take a brand-new men’s dress shoe from idea to factory-ready, and I need a designer who also thinks like a shoe engineer. The exact silhouette is still open—Oxford, Derby, Loafer or a hybrid—but every decision must serve one priority: comfort. Here’s what I expect when we finish: a complete tech pack that a manufacturer can execute without further adjustments. That means accurate last recommendations, upper and lining patterns, material specs, outsole construction notes, stitching diagrams, graded sizing measurements, BOM, and any supporting 2D/3D visuals that clarify the build. If wear-testing data or cushioning calculations are part of your normal workflow, I’m keen to include them as well. Please send a detailed project proposal outlining your development process, key milestones, and how you transform ergonomic goals into practical production files. If you have examples of past tech packs or prototypes that highlight comfort-driven solutions, point me to them so I can see how you work. Once the tech pack is locked, I’ll move directly to manufacturers, so accuracy and thoroughness are vital. Let’s create a dress shoe that looks sharp yet feels great from the first step.
