About the project
I have an existing STL of a small saucer shaped dish that cleans makeup brushes, along with clear reference photos of a fresh design direction. I now need that concept turned into a fully modelled, print-ready STL. Here is what the job involves: • Start from the base STL I supply, but feel free to reshape the entire body—texture, profile, and edge geometry—so the final piece feels like an all-new product rather than a light tweak. • Incorporate high-resolution surface textures on the cleaning side: raised ridges, varied nubs and patterned channels that actively lift pigment from different brush sizes. • Build an ergonomic outer band or grip area so the tool won’t slip when wet; the grip should flow naturally from the shape, not feel tacked on. • Keep overall dimensions within a palm-sized footprint (I will confirm exact limits once we begin). Acceptance criteria 1. One watertight, manifold STL ready for FDM and resin printers. 2. Original editable file (Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Blender, or similar) so I can tweak if needed later. 3. Mesh integrity verified—no non-manifold edges, flipped faces or holes. 4. Detail fidelity: all micro-textures must remain visible after a 0.2 mm layer-height slice preview. I’ll share the source STL, annotated photos and notes on feature priorities as soon as we start.
