About the project
I have a mechanical product sitting at the preliminary-design stage and now need a skilled engineer to push it toward a build-ready solution. All work must be created natively in AutoCAD so I can keep everything inside the same workflow I already use. You will start from my existing sketches, dimensions, and performance targets, then translate them into accurate CAD geometry while resolving functionality, manufacturability, and assembly concerns. Attention to proper tolerances, material selection, and fastener strategy is important because the next step after this engagement is prototyping. Deliverables • Native AutoCAD 2D drawings and 3D model files (.dwg, .dxf as appropriate) • An updated part-count/BOM with basic material notes • A brief design rationale highlighting key decisions, critical dimensions, and any assumptions made I’ll be available for quick feedback loops and can supply reference photos and supporting calculations on request. If you have a solid background in product design and a portfolio that shows similar AutoCAD work, I’d love to collaborate and finalize this product together.
