About the project

I’m looking for a senior-level business analyst who can dive straight into financial modeling, with a clear mandate: build a rigorous Comparative Company Analysis focused on market share and growth metrics. Your core task is to set up a model—likely in Excel, Google Sheets or a tool you prefer—that lines up multiple public companies side-by-side and quantifies how each is growing and capturing share in its respective market. Here’s what I need from you: • A clean, well-documented spreadsheet template that sources historical data, normalises it, and produces intuitive output tables and charts. • Clear definitions of every growth and market-share metric used, along with your data sources. • A short written commentary (bullet or narrative) highlighting key insights, outliers, and any red flags you spot. I’ll supply the initial peer list and any proprietary data I have on hand. You’ll supplement that with publicly available filings, transcripts, or reputable databases to ensure the analysis is both comprehensive and transparent. Deliverables are accepted once the workbook runs error-free, formulas reconcile, and the commentary aligns with the numbers presented. If you enjoy dissecting companies and telling the growth story in numbers, let’s get started.
