HVAC / Ventilation Product Design & Development Engineer

About the project

We are looking for an experienced Product Design & Development Engineer to develop a compact home ventilation system, similar in concept to the attached reference image. We are at the product development stage and looking for someone who can help take the concept from an initial idea/reference design to a functional prototype. The project will involve: Mechanical/product design Internal component layout and packaging HVAC and airflow design Fan/blower selection and integration Air duct/path design Heat exchanger integration Filter integration Air-sealing between fresh and exhaust air Waterproofing and condensation considerations Noise and vibration reduction Electronics/sensor integration 3D CAD and manufacturing drawings Prototype development and testing DFM/DFA for future production Ideal Candidate We are not looking for only a CAD/3D designer. We need someone with practical experience in HVAC, ventilation, airflow and physical product development. Experience with the following would be a strong advantage: HRV/ERV or fresh-air ventilation systems Blower/fan selection Pressure-drop calculations Airflow/CFD Heat exchangers Air filtration Electronics integration Prototyping DFM/DFA Manufacturing Please Include in Your Proposal Your experience with similar HVAC/ventilation products Examples of products you have personally developed Your experience with airflow and blower selection Your CAD software Your experience taking a product from concept → prototype → testing Your estimated timeline and budget Please apply only if you have hands-on product development experience in HVAC/ventilation or a closely related field.
