Open-Plan Kitchen-Living Design

About the project

I’m working with a single open-plan room that currently blends straight from the kitchen into a blank area. I need a fresh, modern layout that fits a defined dining zone and a comfortable living zone while still feeling spacious. The living side has to serve two key moments in my day: movie nights in front of the TV and quieter stretches for reading, so your plan should balance both without the space looking split or cluttered. I’m drawn to a bold, vibrant palette rather than neutrals, so please weave confident colour accents into a clean modern backdrop. To make decisions quickly I’d like the following from you: • A scaled floorplan showing traffic flow, clear dining placement and seating arrangements • Visual support (mood board or 3D views) illustrating the bold colour story, furniture choices and lighting suggestions Keep the design practical—storage solutions that hide media gear, adaptable lighting for bright gatherings or relaxed reading, and furniture sizing that maintains easy circulation are all essential. If you use SketchUp, AutoCAD, or similar tools, just let me know; I’m comfortable reviewing PDFs or shared model links. I’m ready to begin as soon as I see your initial concept and timeline.
