About the project
3D Modeler Needed – Modeling from LiDAR Point Cloud I am looking for an experienced 3D modeler/architectural modeler to create a detailed 3D model of a historic architectural site based on a high-resolution LiDAR/SLAM point cloud. The point cloud will be provided by me. The main task is to accurately reconstruct the existing buildings and architectural elements from the point cloud. Scope of Work Import and work with a large LiDAR/point cloud dataset Create an accurate 3D model based on the existing geometry Model building facades, roofs, walls, openings and architectural details Maintain accurate dimensions and proportions according to the point cloud Clean and optimize the model geometry Ensure the model follows the actual scanned geometry Deliver the final 3D model in a format suitable for further CAD/BIM work and visualization Requirements Previous experience with 3D modeling from point clouds Experience working with LiDAR / laser scanning data Good understanding of architectural modeling Ability to handle large point cloud datasets Attention to geometric accuracy and architectural details Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, 3ds Max, Blender, Rhino, or similar software is welcome. I can provide the point cloud and additional reference information after hiring. Please include examples of previous projects where you created 3D models from LiDAR/point cloud data when applying.
