About the project
I’m building LUMEN, a fast-loading, static React + TypeScript website that showcases my small-batch, sculptural candles. The overall look I want is modern and clean, pairing a deep-crimson backdrop with gold accents that feel like real candlelight. Core experience • A browsable gallery where visitors can filter the lineup by scent before moving on to the product page. • Each candle opens into a 3D quick-view. Smooth rotation is essential; if your library of choice also supports tilt or zoom we can discuss adding those, but rotation must feel effortless on desktop and mobile alike. • Users choose colour and quantity, add items to a cart that persists in the browser (localStorage is fine), and then continue exploring. No back-end checkout is required for this phase. Technical expectations The build needs to stay fully static so I can deploy it anywhere (Netlify, Vercel, or an S3 bucket). Clean, typed components, sensible file structure, and lightweight dependencies are important—I’d like the site to remain fast even on slower connections. Deliverables 1. Source code (React 18 + TypeScript) ready to push to a static host 2. Responsive UI matching the crimson-and-gold theme 3. Scent filter, product pages, and local cart logic 4. 3D viewer component with flawless rotation Once these items are in place I’ll handle copywriting and any back-end work. If this aligns with your strengths, let’s talk through timelines and tooling so we can get LUMEN glowing online.
