Precision Mechanical Components STL Design
USD 10–30
About the project
I have a set of functional mechanical parts that must be modelled and delivered as printer-ready STL files. These pieces will be used in real-world assemblies, so dimensional accuracy and tight tolerances are essential. Here’s what I’m after: • High-precision geometry that will print cleanly on common FDM and resin machines. • Proper wall thicknesses, fillets, and clearances suitable for mechanical loads. • Orientation and build-plate suggestions embedded in the file name or a brief note so I can achieve the best strength once printed. I will share sketches, reference dimensions, and any mating part data the moment we start. Native CAD format alongside the final STLs is a plus if you work in SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar, but the STL output is mandatory. Acceptance criteria • STL files open error-free in Cura or PrusaSlicer. • Key dimensions within ±0.1 mm of the supplied drawings. • No non-manifold edges, inverted normals, or mesh holes. If you have experience designing mechanical components specifically for 3D printing and can turn around accurate models quickly, let’s get started.
