Revit 3D Highway & Structure Model with Rebar

About the project

I am developing a highway scheme that stretches well beyond the 10 km mark and I need the entire corridor translated into a single, coordinated Revit model. The scope covers the full MNB/MJB road structure layers and every reinforcing bar must be scheduled directly from the model. What I expect • A fully parametric Revit file that reflects all carriageways, shoulders, medians, drainage elements and sub-base assemblies. • Embedded rebar families tied to the geometry, generating automatic schedules that can be exported to Excel. • Sheets, views and sections ready for construction review, showing cover, lap lengths and bar marks. • Compliance with recognised international highway and bridge codes (e.g. AASHTO, Eurocode) for geometry and reinforcement. • A short written hand-off note explaining the modelling workflow, view templates and any custom families created. Acceptance criteria The model must regenerate without errors, all rebars must tag and schedule correctly, and clash detection in Revit should return zero hard clashes within the concrete envelope. When you respond, focus on the relevant highway or bridge projects you have already delivered inside Revit, particularly those involving long linear infrastructure, complex reinforcement or international code compliance.
