Mushroom Cup 3D CAD Model

About the project

I have sketched a whimsical, mushroom-shaped drinking cup and now need a production-ready CAD model that I can take straight into prototype testing. The final design must be fully functional for ceramic manufacture, so please build in realistic wall thicknesses, draft angles, and a food-safe internal curve. Key specs • Material assumption: ceramic. • Overall size: standard mug proportions (roughly 90–100 mm Ø, 100–110 mm tall; feel free to adjust slightly for ergonomics as long as volume stays close to a typical 300 ml mug). • Single C-handle that feels balanced and comfortable when the cup is filled. • Smooth exterior that suggests a mushroom cap and stem without compromising stackability or stability on a flat surface. Deliverables 1. Production-ready STL for 3D printing test runs (minimum 0.8 mm wall, manifold, oriented upright). 2. Fully editable STEP (.stp) file so I can tweak textures, add logos, or hand off to the toolmaker. 3. A short note summarising critical dimensions, wall thickness, and any fillets or undercuts you introduced. I’m comfortable with models built in SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar; just maintain feature history so later edits remain straightforward. The model should open cleanly, pass basic mesh checks, and be ready for both SLA print validation and small-batch ceramic slip casting. If something in my brief clashes with best practice for ceramics, flag it and propose an alternative—I want the mug to survive daily use and dishwashing.
