Description

A high-detail model of the International Space Station in its recent configuration, built by NASA's Integrated Graphics, Operations, and Analysis Laboratory. It covers the whole station: the main truss with its radiators and solar arrays (including the newer IROSA wings), Zvezda, Zarya and Nauka, the Kibo exposed facility, the Bishop airlock, the robotic arm, and external payloads down to handrails and small fittings.

Technical details: about 2.98 million triangles and 6.4 million vertices, UV-mapped, with 44 materials and 114 texture maps. That is very dense; decimate it before mobile or VR use. Scaled to 20 metres for AiZity's catalogue scale (real size about 108 metres).

The download includes NASA's original GLB with all its detail, and BLEND for Blender, with textures in a separate folder. AiZity resized the model and converted it to BLEND.

Good for space documentaries, mission animations, close-up renders, education and exhibitions.

License: Public domain, made by NASA/JSC/Integrated Graphics, Operations, and Analysis Laboratory (a U.S. government work). Free for personal and commercial use; please credit NASA. NASA logos and insignia are not included, and use must not suggest NASA endorsement. NASA and partner-agency logos appear on the modules, so this model is marked for editorial use.
