FEA Bridge Pier Fluid-Structure Interaction in ABAQUS 6.14-5
INR 1500–12500
About the project
I need a complete finite element analysis that captures how steady water pressure acts on a bridge pier and analyzes the fluid-structure interaction using ABAQUS 6.14-5. The task involves building the model from scratch, including reinforcement detailing, to simulate non-linear behavior of a concrete pier under static water pressure. Scope: • Develop a 3D Abaqus model, including proper reinforcement geometry and material properties. • Represent non-linear behavior using the Concrete Damaged Plasticity (CDP) model. • Apply accurate hydraulic loading so true pressure distribution is reflected. • Perform Finite Element Analysis combined with Fluid-Structure Interaction (FSI). Expected Outputs: • Stress, strain, and displacement results (non-linear response visible). • Visualizations like stress-strain contours and deformation plots. • Localized cracking risk or yielding zones properly identified. Deliverables: 1. Complete Abaqus input file(s) with scripts/related subroutine files if used. 2. Output database (.odb) reflecting all required results and view sets saved. 3. A detailed technical report explaining methodology, assumptions made, all findings for stresses, strains, displacements etc., and clear illustrations (10–15 pages). 4. Handover guide through notes or discussion on reproducibility of given files/case setup.
