About the project

I have a fabrication project that must move from concept to the shop floor inside SolidWorks. Your task is to convert my existing models into proper sheet-metal parts, add weldments where required, and generate everything the fabricator needs to start cutting, bending, and welding. Scope of work • Convert parts to sheet-metal features, applying correct gauges, bend radii, and K-factors. • Create structural weldments and frames inside the assemblies. • Produce fully detailed 2D drawings that include weld symbols, GD&T-level tolerances, and critical call-outs. • Supply clean 3D CAD models for every part and assembly. • Deliver manufacturing-ready files (DXF/DWG for flat patterns, STEP/IGES for CNC programming, plus PDFs). • Compile an accurate BOM and exploded assembly drawings. I expect SolidWorks-native files (SLDPRT, SLDASM, SLDDRW) alongside the neutral formats mentioned above. Experience in sheet-metal best practices, weldment libraries, and drafting standards is essential; if your profile already shows successful fabrication work, you’re exactly who I’m after. Please confirm you can meet the detail level described, and include a short note on comparable projects you’ve handled so I know we’re speaking the same language.
