About the project

I want to re-imagine the seats of my vehicle so the entire interior feels cohesive, premium, and unmistakably modern and sleek. The project is limited to the interior, and more specifically to the seats; dashboard, door panels, and exterior will stay untouched for now, but the new seat design should still harmonise with a clean, contemporary dashboard aesthetic. Your task will be to take my initial sketches, measurements, and reference photos and turn them into a professional, production-ready concept. Ergonomics, visual flow, and material choice (leather, sustainable fabrics, accent stitching, insert textures, etc.) are all important to me—style cannot come at the expense of comfort. I’m happy to collaborate through iterative reviews, but I’d like to see: • Initial mood boards and rough sketches to lock the visual language • High-fidelity 3D CAD models (STEP or IGES) of the seat frame and foam contours • Renderings—KeyShot or similar—to showcase colour and material options under realistic lighting • A concise spec sheet with material call-outs, seam positions, and any special trim or illumination ideas Preferred tools include SolidWorks, CATIA, or Alias for the modelling, but if you’re comfortable in another industry-standard package and can export neutral files, that works too. I will provide the seat mounting points, occupant package data, and trim constraints once we start. Let me know how you’d approach the concept phase and how many revision rounds you typically include.
