2D DWG to Lifelike 3D Models
GBP 250–750
About the project
I will supply clean 2D DWG plans and sections for two concrete racking systems and three circular wine racks of different diameters. Your task is to rebuild them as accurate 3-D models in SketchUp, showing every connection detail on the concrete racks and, for the wine racks, modelling each bottle slot and populating the units with bottles so I can present a realistic visual to clients. To keep the workflow smooth I need: • A separate SketchUp file for each concrete rack, complete with clearly modelled reinforcing, bolts and junction plates. • Three SketchUp files for the circular wine racks, each at a different diameter, fully populated with bottles and ready for scene renders. • Geometry kept lightweight and organised by layers/tags so I can export to DWG if required. • Screenshots or short screen-record previews before final submission so we can catch any misalignments early. Once these first items are squared away I’ll move straight on to roof details, complex 3-D cut-throughs and other bespoke assemblies, so a smooth and accurate first drop will open the door to regular follow-up work. If you prefer to build in CAD first and then migrate to SketchUp, that’s fine as long as the final deliverable is a clean .skp I can edit. The budget for this project is tight, but the work will be ongoing. I’m looking to build a long-term working relationship with the right freelancer. Let me know how quickly you can turn the initial five models around and what checkpoints you suggest to keep us both confident in the result.
