Automotive Safety Accessory Design
USD 250–750
About the project
I am looking for a highly skilled Mechanical or Automotive Engineer based in the US or Europe who has experience in creating engineering drawings and concepts for patent applications. Project Overview: The invention is a novel automotive safety accessory: a concealed, retractable dual-sided mirror system mounted inside the front bumper, adjacent to the headlights. The system is actuated via a remote control (independent power system). The mirror frame holds a double-sided mirror to project blind-spot/side traffic views directly to the driver's line of sight without needing head/neck rotation. Key Responsibilities: - Develop a logical 3D CAD conceptual design of the mechanical retraction/extension mechanism (servo/stepper motor and gears). - Design the housing with standard weatherproofing features (IP67 ingress protection concepts). - Deliver clean 2D Line Art drawings (Patent-ready black & white diagrams showing hidden, deploying, and exploded views) that comply with patent office guidelines. Please answer these screening questions in your proposal: 1. How much experience do you have with Patent Illustrations and international patent standards? 2. This project is legally protected by an official provisional patent application. Are you fully prepared to sign a standard NDA before we discuss further details? 3. We value high ethical standards and absolute confidentiality. Can you confirm that you work independently and possess the legal integrity required to secure our concept?
