About the project
I need a complete hydraulic and structural design for a small-to-medium weir whose main job is to divert water toward a surface-irrigation network. The site will handle a medium flow rate, so I’m looking for someone who can size the crest, apron, and energy-dissipation arrangements correctly, check stability against sliding, overturning, and uplift, and provide reinforcement details that are ready for construction drawings. Hydraulic calculations (rating curve, afflux, scour depth) must be backed up by recognised methods. I’m comfortable with tools such as HEC-RAS, AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar, so please base your work on software outputs I can review rather than hand sketches alone. Deliverables • Hydraulic design report with assumptions, formulas, and calculation sheets • General arrangement drawings in DWG and PDF • Reinforcement and construction details • Bill of quantities with material take-offs • Brief operation note showing how the weir integrates with the downstream surface-irrigation layout I will supply site survey data and soil parameters as soon as we agree on the scope. Your design will be considered complete when the drawings are ready for submission to local authorities and the calculations check out under peer review.
