About the project

I’m midway through drafting the full plan set for an Accessory Dwelling Unit. Floor plans, elevations, and the basic site layout are already modeled in AutoCAD; what I now need is a qualified professional to turn that draft into a city-ready package. Because the project is firmly in the Drafting Plans stage, your focus will be refining and completing the construction details that a permit reviewer wants to see—structural call-outs, electrical and plumbing layouts, schedules, notes, and any code references required for approval. If you already know the typical California residential submittal standards that will help, and once we start I can forward whatever municipal ordinance packet the city provides so everything lines up on the first review cycle. Deliverables I expect: • Updated CAD file (DWG) with all final layers, dimensions, and annotations • A clean, bookmarked PDF plan set ready for electronic submission • Structural, electrical, and plumbing sheets integrated and coordinated • General notes, Title 24/energy compliance data, and any life-safety diagrams the city requests Let me know which software you prefer (AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, etc.), your proposed turnaround time, and what additional information—soil report, product specs, fixture schedule—you’ll need to finish the job without surprises.
