Market pricing: AI-assisted aircraft-cover pattern automation (Rhino 8 / ExactFlat)
hr USD 20–100
About the project
Market pricing only — standalone remote AI/automation R&D for aircraft-cover pattern making. A Wrocław, Poland aircraft-cover workshop wants to estimate the cost of turning prepared aircraft 3D geometry, existing manual cover patterns and fit-test feedback into proposed cover panels, flattened 2D patterns and cutter-ready DXF files in a planned Rhino 8 / ExactFlat workflow. On-site scanning, sewing, cutter operation and routine production are outside this package. Please estimate the required hours yourself; we deliberately provide no hour count. Price separately: (1) data and Rhino/ExactFlat integration/licensing feasibility; (2) clean example dataset and non-AI baseline; (3) AI experiments or fine-tuning only if justified; (4) source-controlled prototype with human review/editing; (5) held-out geometry tests, error analysis and operator-time comparison. The broader project may run up to 24 months after a possible start; propose your own delivery schedule. Target outputs: editable source code/scripts, data schema, setup instructions, integration/licensing report, experiment logs and metrics, sample editable CAD and cutter-ready DXF files, technical handover. A working automated or assisted workflow is the R&D objective, not a guaranteed outcome. Do not assume ExactFlat has an automation API or that its standard licence permits unattended use; state extra licence costs or alternative architecture. Representative data can be shared after confidentiality and rights terms. By 29 September 2026, 20:00 CEST, quote YOUR OWN estimated hours by stage, net hourly rate, indicative net total, delivery timeline, taxes/VAT, named person/team, relevant CAD/AI examples, input-data requirements, assumptions/exclusions, software/licence and AI compute/API costs separately, and optional short feasibility-stage price. Fully remote work is acceptable. Non-binding pricing request; no purchase order.
