About the project

am looking for an experienced SolidWorks / Sheet Metal tooling designer to create a complete tooling and product CAD package for a custom sheet metal forming operation on a CNC press brake. We are replicating an IKEA BROR–style structural interlocking keyhole/screw pocket feature in 1.8 mm mild steel. The manufacturing process will be executed in two steps: CNC Fiber Laser cutting the 2D flat profile (including pre-cut pilot holes, slots, and relief arcs). Press brake forming the recessed pocket and raised side tabs using a custom punch and die set. Edit : (Important) Must have an IKEA Bror on hand to reverse engineer it Deliverables Needed: 2D Flat DXF Cutting Profile: Optimized 2D laser-cut flat pattern for the keyhole slot, center pilot hole, and clearance arcs/bridges to allow clean forming in 1.8 mm mild steel without tearing. Press Brake Tooling (Punch & Die Assembly): Male Punch Model (.SLDPRT & .STEP) Tooling geometry must be optimized for additive manufacturing (3D printing in PA6-CF / PET-CF). SolidWorks Forming Tool Feature (.sldftp): Properly configured SolidWorks Sheet Metal Form Tool with correct Stopping Face, Faces to Remove, and Insertion Point so it can be added to our local Design Library. Sample Formed Sheet Metal Part (.SLDPRT): A short L-angle test bracket (40×40×1.8 mm) showing the flat cut + forming tool feature applied and fully un-flattenable/flattenable in SolidWorks Sheet Metal.
