Camping Chair Clip CAD Design
USD 30–250
About the project
I need a seasoned mechanical / product designer to turn my accessory visuals into a production-ready 3D CAD package. Scope • Convert my concept renderings and reference photos into a fully-parametric CAD model optimized for injection-moulded polypropylene. • Integrate correct wall thickness, draft angles, fillets and clip tolerances so the part flexes to grip standard chair tubing yet stays rigid enough to protect the roll-up. • Provide advice on gate location, ejector pin placement and any undercut mitigation. Deliverables 1. Native CAD file (SolidWorks, Fusion 360 or similar) plus STEP/IGES for tooling. 2. 2D manufacturing drawings with dimensions, tolerances and material call-outs. 3. Exploded or cross-section view showing critical interior features. 4. Short design note outlining polypropylene grade assumptions and estimated part weight. I have specific colour choices in mind and will share the palette along with chair tube diameters and all existing renderings once we start. If you’ve brought consumer accessories from sketch to mass production—especially snap-fit plastic parts—let’s talk.
