3D Manual Lens Adapter Model
CAD 30–250
About the project
I want to use my Micro Four Thirds lenses on a “Mission 1 Pro” filter mount, so I need a precise 3D model of a manual-focus lens adapter. The model has to reproduce the exact MFT bayonet on the lens side and the Mission 1 mount on the camera side, with the correct flange-to-flange distance so the lenses hit infinity focus without shims. Along with mechanical accuracy, the model should include a positive-locking mechanism (spring tab or similar) for the lens side, a snug light-tight fit to the Mission 1 body and internal matte baffles to minimise reflections. I plan to prototype on an FDM or resin printer, then machine the final part from aluminium, so please keep overhangs and wall thicknesses additive-manufacturing friendly while still convertible to CNC. Deliverables • Native CAD file (STEP or SolidWorks) • Print-ready STL with axis correctly oriented • Dimensional drawing that calls out all critical tolerances and thread specs I will supply any photos and measurements you may need for the Mission 1 mount once we start.
