About the project

Title: 20x36 Cabin – 2D Floor Plan + SketchUp 3D Model + Construction Drawings (Phased) Description: I need a designer experienced with small cabins/houses to develop plans for a 20' x 36' cabin with a 6' covered farmer’s porch. Project Phases (I will pay by milestone): Phase 1 – 2D Floor Plan Create a clean 2D floor plan based on my pencil sketch and requirements below. Deliver in SketchUp (.skp) and PDF. adjust where needed to fit appliances Phase 2 – Full 3D SketchUp Model Build a complete 3D model in SketchUp using layers so I can edit it if needed at a later time. Include walls, roof, porch, windows, doors, lofts, and basic furnishings. Phase 3 – Construction-ready drawings Produce drawings suitable for building, NOT for permit applications (floor plan, elevations, foundation/crawl space, basic framing notes). Deliver in SketchUp + PDF. Cabin Requirements: Size: 20' x 36' + 6' covered farmer’s porch along the long side Layout (looking at the front of the house): Front Right: Kitchen Right Rear: Bathroom Front Left: Mud room / open space Left Rear: Bedroom (king bed) Two sleeping lofts: One over the kitchen/bathroom side One over the bedroom/mud room side Space-saving stairs to the lofts Cathedral ceiling over the living room in the center of the house All water fixtures on interior walls (toilet, shower, kitchen sink, washer/dryer, hot water tank) (building in cold climate) Utility closet between bathroom and kitchen for: hot water tank, washer/dryer, and electric panel Crawl space foundation I will provide a pencil sketch as the starting point. Please only bid if you have experience with small residential cabins and can work in SketchUp. Include examples of similar work in your proposal. Timeline: Flexible over the next 3 months
